Kevin "Clipper" Clover
Local Suffolk artist Kevin was born in Ipswich. His passion at school was always art and he was the first to put his name down for extra tuition. After school Kevin attended Ipswich Art Collage before starting full time employment.
During his working career Kevin’s creative side came out in his other hobbies including photography and an extensive collection of model aircraft, to which he added detail with his airbrush.
Five years before retiring Kevin set up a studio in his garden complete with a wood burner for those cold days and started to concentrate on art once again at the weekends
Now fully retired, Kevin has produced a range of large canvas pieces under the theme of ‘Love’, working in the same studio using acrylic paints.
His latest work involves looking at buildings and giving them his own twist using watercolours. Look out for his trademark ‘H’ shaped aerials and ‘beer barrel’ water butt!
