Gemma Tremayne Jewellery

Gemma Tremayne handcrafts unique, eco-conscious, silver and gold jewellery from her home studio on the Essex/Suffolk border. Gemma's approach to jewellery design is intuitive, organic and led by the heart. Not taking influence from mainstream fashion trends and instead drawing her inspiration from the raw beauty of the coastline and a love of slow, intentional living. Gemma believes that our jewellery should be part of something bigger, part of our own unique story and her work focuses heavily on emotion, connection and the small moments in our lives that take our breath away.

Previously a professional scale model maker, Gemma has a First Class Honours degree in Model Making from the University of Hertfordshire and her work (across many disciplines) has been exhibited all over the world, from Dubai, to Hong Kong, to the Monaco Yacht Show. Gemma's previous creative career has not only aided her ability to make finely crafted jewellery, but also provided her with an interdisciplinary and illustrative approach that is totally unique.

As a sea and nature lover herself, Gemma is committed to making her work as environmentally friendly as possible. Each piece is made in 100% recycled metals and ethically sourced gemstones, and supplied in beautiful FSC certified and recyclable packaging.

Gemma strives for her work to be a small piece of sanctuary in what can sometimes be a chaotic world. It's a unique way to celebrate special moments spent with special people, and to connect with the people and places that matter to us most.

In this general catalogue we publish just a few examples of Gemma's work, with most of the exhibits currently available being shown in our website shop.  If you live close by, or are on holiday in the area, do visit the Gallery itself where you should enjoy a relaxed browse through our East Anglian Artists' creations.
